How to play Clay Shoot
Clay Shoot is a first-person skeet game. You walk round the eight stations of a skeet field and break clays thrown from a high house on the left and a low house on the right, including doubles with two shots. Your shot takes real time to arrive, so you must aim ahead of a moving clay and swing smoothly through it. Break 15 of the 25 clays to earn a faster, wider round.
- Mouse to aim, left-click or Space to fire, right-click to steady the aim
- You have two shells; the gun reloads between calls
- Esc to pause and free the mouse
- Touch: drag the right side to aim, FIRE and ZOOM buttons
Tips for a higher score
- Do not shoot at the clay itself: aim ahead of it, along its flight path, and keep the gun moving as you fire.
- Pick the clay up with your gun early, follow it smoothly, then pull the trigger without stopping the swing.
- On a double, take the clay that is closer to you first, then swing to the second.
- The miss hint tells you if you were behind, ahead, over or under, so adjust your lead on the next call.
- Right-click slows the aim for a steadier, narrower view, handy for the long crossing shots.
