Play Sky Pilot Online Free
A flight simulator you can pick up in a minute. Fly a twin turboprop between five island airports: line up on the runway, rotate at the right speed, raise the gear, thread the glowing rings along the route and land on the glide path. The wind changes on every flight, and day turns to dusk, fog and night as you go. A real flight model gives you stalls, flaps, crosswinds and a glass cockpit with an artificial horizon, ILS needles and PAPI lights. Land softly on the centreline for the biggest score; one crash ends the run.
How to play Sky Pilot
Sky Pilot is a 3D flight game built around a real flight model. You fly a twin turboprop between five island airports: take off, climb through the glowing rings along the route and land on the runway. The aircraft stalls if it is too slow, the wind pushes it sideways, and each flight brings stronger wind and later hours, from bright day to dusk, fog and night. A glass-cockpit display shows your attitude, speed, height and the landing beam.
- W / S pitch, A / D roll, Q / E rudder (I inverts pitch)
- Shift / F raise and lower power, or press 0-9 to set it. Space brakes
- G gear, V flaps, C camera (chase, cockpit, far), P pause
- Touch: drag the left side to steer, PWR slider for power, buttons for gear, flaps and brakes
Tips for a higher score
- Take off with full power (hold Shift), then pull back gently as you pass 93 knots. Raise the gear once you are climbing.
- Keep your speed above the red mark on the speed tape; the wing stalls below it and the nose drops. Lower the nose to recover.
- On the final approach, drop the gear and flaps, aim at the runway threshold and keep the two pink needles centred. Power sets your descent, pitch sets your speed.
- The PAPI lights beside the runway show your height: two white and two red means you are on the glide path.
- Land into the wind (check the windsock and the wind readout), ease the nose up just before the wheels touch and brake after you are down.
