A real-time war game where whole armies of individual soldiers fight across a living battlefield of mountains, a river with fords, forests, hills and farm fields. You command regiments of spearmen, archers, cavalry, war elephants and catapults, and ride beside your king. Every soldier is simulated: horses gather speed and hit with a crushing charge, spearmen standing still brace against it, archers loose real arrows that fly across the field and can kill a soldier, wound a horse or strike down a king, catapults hurl boulders that splash a whole formation, and elephants trample everything in their path. Mountains block arrows and armies, forests slow cavalry and shield from fire, and hills let archers see further. Regiments have morale: heavy losses, flank attacks and a fallen king make them break and run, while a king banner steadies those near him. Fight a five-battle campaign, spend gold on new regiments between battles and bring your veterans back stronger. Your score rewards victories, enemies defeated, troops saved and speed.
How to play Kingdom Clash
Kingdom Clash is a real-time medieval battle game. You command regiments of individual soldiers across a field of mountains, a river with fords, forests, hills and farmland. Cavalry gallop in for crushing charges, spearmen brace against them, archers loose arrows that really fly and can kill soldiers, wound horses or strike down a king, catapults splash whole formations and elephants trample the line. Regiments have morale and run when they break. Win five battles, spend gold on new regiments between them and keep your king alive.
- Click a regiment (or its card, or press 1-9) to select it; drag a box to select several; A selects all
- Click the ground to march there, or click an enemy to attack; right-click orders without selecting, and dragging with the right button sets which way the regiment faces
- H holds position, C charges the nearest enemy, Space pauses (orders still work), + / - change speed
- Every battle opens paused so you can look over the field and give first orders; press Space, PLAY or give an order to begin
- You are the blue army on the left; the enemy is red. Hover anything for details, and read the regiment panel beside the minimap
- Esc deselects or opens the menu
- Touch: tap a regiment card or unit, then tap the ground or an enemy; use HOLD, CHARGE and ALL in the top bar
Tips for a higher score
- Keep archers behind your spearmen and let them shoot while the line holds. Mountains block arrows, so use a ridge for cover.
- Cavalry charge hardest from a long run. Ride them round the flank onto the archers and catapults, never into braced spears.
- A regiment that is flanked or loses many soldiers panics and runs. Keep your king banner close to steady it, but not in the thick of the fight.
- Elephants trample formations. Stand spearmen still in front of them, and use catapults to bring them down from range.
- Hard running tires soldiers: cavalry that gallop all over the field arrive slow and weak, so rest them before the charge. Wind drifts arrows downwind and rain spoils aim, so check the wind vane.
- Space pauses the battle and you can still give orders, so use it to plan a flank. H holds position and C charges the nearest enemy.
