Play Firewall Frenzy Online Free
Defend your network for 90 seconds. Malware, ransomware, phishing e-mails, botnets and suspicious connections rain down and get faster as the threat level rises. Shoot the red ones, let the green ones pass, catch the MFA token and backup drives, and chain streaks for up to a x5 multiplier. Short lessons pop up as you play, and your score card at the end shows which security habit to sharpen.
How to play Firewall Frenzy
Firewall Frenzy is a Space-Invaders-style arcade shooter about everyday cyber security. You fly a small defence ship along the bottom of the screen and protect your network for 90 seconds. Malware, ransomware, phishing e-mails, botnets and suspicious connections fall towards you and speed up through four threat levels. Harmless things such as real mail, routine updates and staff VPN also appear, and shooting those costs you points. Catch the MFA token (not the weak password) for a shield and collect backup drives to soften ransomware.
- Touch: drag to steer, the ship fires by itself
- Mouse: click and drag
- Keyboard: Left / Right arrows or A / D
- Red = threat, green = safe, blue = boost
Tips for a higher score
- Red is a threat, green is safe: steer so your shots do not cross a green item on the way to a red one.
- Phishing e-mails give themselves away with urgency, prizes and odd senders. Real mail has a green tick.
- Fly into the MFA phone, never the weak password key. MFA absorbs every hit for eight seconds.
- Grab backup drives early: with one in the bank, ransomware that gets through only does a little damage.
- Keep your streak alive. Combos raise the multiplier up to x5 and unlock twin and triple shots.
